TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK has already been represented in the Czech Republic and Mexico, but under the leadership of the German headquarter and the subsidiary in the USA.
With the launch of the new wholly-owned subsidiaries in Mexico on 1 January 2018 and the Czech Republic on 1 July 2018, TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK's Worldwide Sales and Service Network is now further expanded. This means that the specialist for drive, press and connection technology is now present in 20 countries with its own competence centres and subsidiaries and with representations in more than 20 countries.
Founded in 1978, the group now employs more than 1,300 people. With three complementary divisions, the company is successful in the metal processing industry worldwide. The Components division comprises pneumohydraulic and electromechanical drives, controls and software. The press range and manual, machine and robot tongs form the Systems division. In addition to clinching, riveting and fastener insertion technologies, assembly and testing methods are also offered.
Martin Knörle, as one of three managing directors responsible for Finance, Administration and Human Resources, on the philosophy of internationalization: "Right from the start we have relied on a decentralized sales and service structure. In principle, only local personnel are employed in all local companies, including management. Depending on the market situation, we initially start with Sales & Service for the local market and successively supplement this offering with engineering and production services. As a result, independent engineering and mechanical engineering companies develop, which in turn fall back on the production services of our main plant in Weingarten and on the components and machines produced in the Taicang (China) plant".
The Czech subsidiary, which also serves the Slovak market, will also act as an "extended workbench" for the German plant to secure the necessary production capacities in the coming years.
Currently, 15 employees are already working at the new location in Saltillo in northern Mexico and 15 at the location in Brno in the Czech Republic. With decentralization, TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK guarantees practical market proximity and thus customer focus. And decentralized production ensures prompt delivery and supply on site.
